Hi! I'm Tricia.

I've been a photographer for over 20 years. I have had my professional certification from the New York Institute of Photography for over a decade. I am constantly learning and improving with continuing education. I have photographed over 1,000 newborns! Yep. I randomly keep track! During my career, I have done pretty much everything possible as a photographer. Weddings, families, seniors, babies, products, theatrical head shots, live theater events... You name it, I've probably done it. BUT, this is what I've learned. I'm best at babies. I love it the most, and if you love it, it shows! So, as “semi-retirement” has set in, I've decided to do just that. Specializing in maternity through baby's first year. Not to say I WON'T do those other sessions (except for weddings, those are DONE), but they will be few and on a case by case basis.

Another valuable life lesson, clients become FAMILY. And as such, I can't possibly refuse a baby client family that has “graduated”. So ask. Just ask. If I think I can't do your session for whatever reason, I will do my best to find you someone who CAN. Yes. I just said that. I WILL refer any client to another photographer if I think it's not something I can do and do well. Or maybe we aren't a good fit? That's OK too. I strongly believe in supporting other artists. Just as I strongly believe that clients are looking for a good “fit” for their family. So many things play into deciding what photographer is best for YOUR family. Obviously, price is always a factor. But I also believe that you get what you pay for. Style is even MORE important. I tend to be more “relaxed” and less posed, but not really “lifestyle” as some are. Heck, I learned on film (yes, I'm THAT many years old) and find that I tend to do best when getting it “right” IN camera with only light editing. I struggle with composite editing, but if you have something in mind, I'm ALWAYS open to your ideas and suggestions, and I will give it a try! But I know that it's not my best work. And probably MOST important, personality. Yep. If you aren't comfortable around me during your session, you aren't going to have the best photographs. I do my best to make all my sessions relaxed, comfortable and fun. If you aren't having fun, I'm not doing my job. And if our personalities don't mesh? That's OK. Not every one person can get along with every other person!

Personal life. Well, I'm a wife to retired military husband. Mom to two adult (21 and 19) kids and loving “step-monster” to one (29!). Gigi to my bonus grandson. Dog mom to one. I work part-time for Bella Baby Photography photographing newborns at the hospital because I LOVE it that much! My husband and I, with our youngest who just started college, recently moved to Florida from Maine and I can't tell you how much I adore being here! I love “crafts”. I love to take old, yucky furniture and make it pretty. I like painting fun signs and creating photo sets.

I hope you consider me to document your special moments. Especially if you are expecting a new addition!

“I came across CK2 on Facebook and her pictures captivated me so I figured let me reach out to her. Booking was so easy and just a few weeks later our little boy was born. We brought a few props but she has a great little studio full of props to use too. More importantly, I felt completely comfortable and safe handing my 7 day old to a complete stranger and let her do her magic. She is SO great with babies and captured the most precious pictures of him!”
